New Trailer For Blumhouse Horror ‘The Purge: Anarchy’

THE PURGE: ANARCHY has a new untamed trailer that’s been released by those folk at Universal Pictures and shows us a wickedly violent peek into the sequel.

Written and directed by James Demonaco, the latest purge film looks to impress upon the unique concept. The film is based on a new America, in which one day a year the purge is celebrated. The purge is a day where all crime is legal, even murder.

Returning alongside DeMonaco to produce the sequel to 2013’s sleeper hit are Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity and Insidious series), alongside Sébastien K. Lemercier (Assault on Precinct 13, Four Lovers) and Platinum Dunes partners Michael Bay (Pain & Gain, Transformers), Brad Fuller (The Amityville Horror, A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Andrew Form (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th).

THE PURGE: ANARCHY will debut in the US on the 18th July, and the UK a week later on the 25th July. The film features; Frank Grillo, Zach Gilford, Kiele Sanch.
