Adam Cooper & Bill Collage Rewriting ‘Assassin’s Creed’

Assassin's Creed Film

Adam Cooper and Bill Collage have been called in to rewrite the script for upcoming Ubisoft videogame adaptation ASSASSIN’S CREED, which is set to star Michael Fassbender in some form.

No other details are known about the film just yet, including which era of the series’ century-spanning history it will take on or which character Fassbender is set to play. It’s likely that he’ll take on the role of Desmond Miles, however, whom it could be expected will be given a more prolific role than in the games.

Cooper and Collage have their hands full at the moment, having written the original draft of Ridley Scott’s biblical epic EXODUS: GODS & KINGS and Darren Aronofsky’s THE GENERAL, with scripts for DEVIL IN THE GROVE, SHAKE, THE MACCABEE and TV series Pinkerton all in the works.

Stay tuned to THN for more on ASSASSIN’S CREED, which has a tentative release date of 6th August, 2015.
