With Amy Schumer writing and Judd Apatow directing, it’s coming together nicely for their new project TRAINWRECK and now we’ve got news of the ever-expanding cast list! Schumer was already confirmed to star alongside Bill Hader and Brie Larson and now there’s the addition of Tilda Swinton, Barkhad Abdi, John Cena, Ezra Miller, Jon Glaser, Mike Birbiglia, Colin Quinn (Girls) and Saturday Night Live‘s Vanessa Bayer. Quite the mixed bag of serious and comedy going on but, as we all know with Apatow, I’m sure he’ll find a spot for all.
As we previously reported, the plot is still a little secretive but we do know that the film revolves around writer and lead-role lady Schumer, who’s trying to rebuild her life with her boyfriend, best friend and parent or parents. Or could ‘plot details being kept under wraps‘ literally mean it’s a film about dead people being hidden in Tortillas? I guess we’ll find out soon enough and we’ll bring you any new as we hear it!
TRAINWRECK is currently set for release in the US on July 24th and a month late in the UK on August 28th.
