I wasn’t particularly enamoured with the break-out smash-hit horror film THE PURGE when it came out last summer. Not at all, but because that movie made a bucket-load of green (nearly $90 million off of a $3 million budget), we’re getting another this summer. THE PURGE: ANARCHY will star Frank Grillo and Michael K. Williams, and will be directed by the first film’s helmer James DeMonaco, who also writes.
No idea what the plot entails, but you’ll be your ass that it will revolve around the following year’s ‘Purge Night,’ where all crime is legal for 12 hours.
