The five main players in Marvel’s GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY land themselves on this early banner for the comic-book film written and directed by James Gunn. Star Lord, aka Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Drax The Destroyer (Dave Bautisita), Rocket Racoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper), Groot (motion-captured and voiced by Vin Diesel) and Gamora (Zoe Sandana) are featured as the otherworldly heroic outlaws who’ll battle it out with the villain The Collector (Benicio del Toro) and his evil gang (which includes former Doctor Who sexpot Karen Gillan).
Having seen the early footage shown at Comic Con in July, I’m desperate to see what Gunn has come up with!
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is slated for cinemas from 1st August 2014 and co-stars Michael Rooker, Ophelia Lovibond, Lee Pace, Djimon Honsou, Glenn Close, Peter Serafinowicz and John C. Reilly.
