Two Indie darlings in a post apocalyptic movie? YES PLEASE. It has been revealed today that Evan Rachel Wood will be joining Ellen Page for new movie INTO THE FOREST.
The film, adapted from the novel by Jean Hegland, tells the story of two sisters as they struggle to survive in the remote Northern California wilds after society collapses. Patricia Rozema wrote the screenplay and will also be taking on directing duties too. Page will also take on a producing credit alongside Kelly Bush Novak and Sriram Das.
Not much has been revealed about the project, and no word set on a date just yet – but who can resist a strong female leads huh? We certainly can’t.
