Jason Reitman already has a great selection of films behind him that include JUNO, UP IN THE AIR and the vastly underrated YOUNG ADULT that starred Charlize Theron. Following up the recent international p0ster for his new film LABOR DAY, we’ve now got the first UK poster for the film starring Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, Clark Gregg and Tobey Maguire.
There’s a trailer due soon but scroll down for the poster that suggests a difficult (or honest?) relationship, rather than a loving one and this official synopsis gives us further background:
Depressed single mom Adele and her son Henry offer a wounded, fearsome man a ride. As police search town for the escaped convict, the mother and son gradually learn his true story as their options become increasingly limited.
LABOR DAY is currently screening in the BFI London Film Festival and has a nationwide release on 7th February 2014.
