Just when you thought you had seen the last of Freddy Krueger thanks to 2010’s disappointing reboot of the iconic horror franchise, he once again rears his ugly head for a UK exclusive Halloween treat. A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET will be re-released in UK theatres for one day only this Halloween which is sure to please many die-hard horror fans.
The original 1984 film is considered by many to be the best in the long running franchise that spawned seven sequels, a reboot and spin-off television series that ran for two seasons. The film starred Robert Englund, Heather Langenkamp and a very young Johnny Depp at the beginning of his career. The plot of the film see’s a horribly disfigured man named Freddy Krueger tormenting the teenage residents of elm street wielding a knifed glove and the power to kill them in their own dreams. The trailer can be seen below for the 31st October release.
