Terms and Conditions

1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry to this merchandise promotion. By entering into this promotion, entrants agree to acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. The Promoter is The Hollywood News (“The Promoter”)

3. Entry is open to users who are resident in the United Kingdom. (“Eligible Entrants”)

4. Directors, management, employees, officers and immediate families of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, employees of associated agencies involved in this promotion are ineligible to enter this promotion.

5. To enter the Competition, entrants must answer the question stated above, correctly.

7. One entry per person for the duration of the Promotion Period.

8. The winning entry will be picked at random.

9. When entering, users will not be immediately notified if they are correct. The winner will be notified within two days of the competition closing.

11. Disruptive, annoying, harassing or threatening behavior or acting in a manner that brings the Promoter into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule shall be prohibited at the event. Promoter reserves the right to remove a Prize Winner from the event if Prize Winner is determined, in the Promoter’s sole discretion, to have acted in any prohibited behavior.

11. The prizes must be taken by the Prize Winners as stated and cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for other goods and services. There is no cash alternative to any of the prizes in whole or in part. Any element of the prize which is unused will be forfeited and no compensation will be paid in lieu of that element of the prize. The prizes are awarded on an “as is” basis and neither Promoter nor any of their related bodies corporate, make any representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the prizes.

13. Save where it or they have been negligent, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) exclude all liability, for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; or any tax liability incurred by the winner. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall in any way limit Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its or their negligence or for any other matter where liability may not as a matter of law be limited.

14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation of any aspect of the prize, due to circumstances outside its or their reasonable control. In any such event, an alternative element of the prize will be arranged.

15. The Prize Winner will be notified by e-mail no later than two (2) working days after the listed draw date. If the Prize Winner does not reply to the winner’s email acknowledging receipt of their prize, within three (3) days of the notification email being sent, they will forfeit their prize. A stamped addressed envelope must be included with the request.

The Promoter is not responsible for any problem or technical malfunction of any communications network or any late, lost, incorrectly submitted, delayed, ineligible, incomplete, corrupted or misdirected entry beyond its or their reasonable control whether due to error, transmission interruption or otherwise. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its or their sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
