All New ‘Machete Kills’ Sizzle Spot Featuring Michelle Rodriguez

One of the more interesting panels at this weekend’s Comic Con was the Entertainment Weekly’s ‘Women Who Kick Ass,’ in the main hall, which featured, amongst others, Michelle Rodriguez. The panel didn’t feature any footage of any kind, but was more of a political debate on women’s roles in film. It was really good, and so different to all of the other panels featured on the hectic Saturday. I was slightly disappointed in not seeing any footage from her upcoming MACHETE KILLS this weekend, but what we do have is a superb sizzle reel for the film featuring Michelle’s character of Shé quite prominently.

Danny Trejo returns as ex-Federale agent Machete, who is recruited by the President of the United States for a mission which would be impossible for any mortal man – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billionaire arms dealer who has hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet

MACHETE KILLS opens on 4th October in the US, but there is no set release date as yet for the UK.
