Teasing Pics Of Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Hercules: The Thracian Wars’

Dwayne Johnson has posted some teasing photos from the set of HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS, his latest muscle-bound motion picture.

The former WWE Champion (who, when it suits him, likes to be called The Rock) is keen on tweeting on-set pics from whatever he’s working on, or as he calls it, ‘dominating.’ He recently hinted at his character’s look (have a peek here) and has now posted a couple more shot. One of which seems to be a blood-thirsty wooden parrot in bondage trying to eat a sword and the other is of his scarred, mullet draped shoulder.

He reveals that he got the scars from ‘a satisfied woman with long ass nails… wink wink…’ whether or not he’s referring to his character or real life exploits is unclear. Or indeed when he says ‘long ass nails,’ does he mean ‘she had very long nails’ or literally ‘long ass nails.’ Which doesn’t bear thinking about. Either way, have a couple of photos.

HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS is directed by Brett Ratner and stars Dwayne Johnson, Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, Reece Ritchie, Tobias Santelmann, Rebecca Ferguson, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Aksel Hennie and John Hurt. It is due for release on 26 July 2014. And we’re going to see it just because The Rock meets Lovejoy.

John is a gentleman, a scholar, he’s an acrobat. He is one half of the comedy duo Good Ol’ JR, and considers himself a comedy writer/performer. This view has been questioned by others. He graduated with First Class Honours in Media Arts/Film & TV, a fact he will remain smug about long after everyone has stopped caring. He enjoys movies, theatre, live comedy and writing with the JR member and hetero life partner Ryan. Some of their sketches can be seen on YouTube and YOU can take their total hits to way over 17!
