Intense & Terrifying UK Trailer For ‘You’re Next’

It’s been a long time coming but we can finally showcase the UK first trailer for director Adam Wingard‘s home-invasion horror YOU’RE NEXT.  The film was shot over three years ago, premiering to much acclaim at 2011s Toronto International Film Festival, but found itself part of financial studio woes. Lionsgate have since acquired the rights.

The film centres on a family reunion that turns deadly when silent masked murders invade their celebratory event.  Their only hope is Erin (Sharni Vinson), a girlfriend of one of the family members who proves to be rather inventive with her own set of skills as they try to survive the brutal onslaught. We’ve heard it’s a genius mix of THE STRANGERS, SCREAM and HOME ALONE!

YOU’RE NEXT co-stars Joe Swanberg, AJ Bowen, Amy Seimetz, Barbara Crampton, Wendy Glenn, Margaret Laney, Rob Moran, Nicholas Tucci, Ti West and opens in the US from 23rd August and the UK from the 30th. However, they’ll also be previews from 28th August.
