Justin Theroux Joins Damon Lindelof’s ‘The Leftovers’

Justin TherouxAfter a stint on the amazing PARKS AND RECREATION, Justin Theroux will be returning to TV once again as it was announced that he will be joining a new HBO pilot named THE LEFTOVERS, created by LOST and STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS writer Damon Lindelof.

Based on the book by Tom Perrotta, THE LEFTOVERS follows a group of people who did not make it when the rapture happened, and are forced to stay behind in a suburban community.  Theroux will play chief police officer Kevin Garvey, a father of two trying to live a normal life after the rapture.

Of course this is not the first time Theroux has been on HBO, he played the character Joe in eight episodes of SIX FEET UNDER. So, tell us! Are you looking forward to Justin Theroux’s return to the small screen?
