Disney’s ‘Cars’ Spin-off ‘Planes’ Soars In Sweeping New Promo

The Disney-Pixar CARS franchise many see as the weakest of the stunning joint studio output (myself included by a long, long way) but Lightening McQueen and company sure sell millions of toys. Disney have branched out on their own with spin-off PLANES, which follows Dusty, a crop dusting plane who dreams of competing in a famous daredevil aerial race. However, Dusty is hopelessly afraid of heights and looks for help from his mentor, Skipper, to conquer his fear.

PLANES fly into UK cinemas from 16th August and the US a week earlier on the 9th August. On voice duties is Dane Cook, Val Kilmer, Terri Hatcher, John Cleese, Anthony Edwards, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss and Brad Garrett
