THN is pleased to bring you the third clip (find the previous two here and here) from director J.J. Abrams’ sci-fi sequel STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS. It features a heated exchange between the heroic Captain of the U.S.S Enterprise and a caged Benedict Cumberbatch as deadly adversary John Harrison – a renegade ex-agent for the Federation, now swearing vengeance against his former employers.
It’s still up in the air whether Abrams will return for a third adventure following the confirmation he’ll helm STAR WARS: EPISODE VII but Trekkies will have their fingers crossed. We also debuted some new stills and character poster earlier today, so be sure to check those out if you’ve missed them..
STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve, Peter Weller and opens in the UK from 10th May and the May 17th in the US.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
