Jonathan Liebsman’s simply-titled NINJA TURTLES has recently confirmed the main cast for the Platinum Dunes-produced adaptation of Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird’s cult comic-book. Alan Ritchson, Pete Ploszek, Jeremy Howard and Noel Fisher will play the motion-captured pizza munching teenage mutant amphibians. Not forgetting Michael Bay’s stunning best pal Megan Fox as reporter April O’Neil and comic genius Will Arnett, rumoured to be taking on the role of Casey Jones.
Now we can finally reveal that Danny Woodburn, best known for his roles in a number of hit television shows and was last seen on the big-screen in fairytale MIRROR MIRROR, will turn furry as rodent mentor Spliter. The character acts as the father figure to the ‘Cowabunga’ screaming, awesome foursome and will most likely also be mo-capped.
NINJA TURTLES will hit cinemas from June 2014
