Not content with bringing us another ANCHORMAN offering, voicing in the upcoming LEGO MOVIE and re-teaming with current co-star Kristen Wiig for WELCOME ME, Will Ferrell is also expected to headline an adaptation of the Andrew Feguson novel, ‘Crazy U: One Dad’s Crash Course In Getting His Kid Into College’. If there is any title that speaks volumes about a particular plot synopsis, it’s this one, however, it is expected the film will stick with the simpler moniker of CRAZY U.
New Line Cinema have tasked Black List author Jesse Andrews to adapt the book centre on a loving, yet obsessed father who does any and everything he can to make sure his son gets into the best college. We’ll keep you posted on potential support casting and directing talent.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
