We have a couple of exciting new featurettes to share which gives us more insight into sci-fi epic, OBLIVION, as well as the action sequel, G.I. JOE: RETALIATION.
First up is a look at the creative process of building the futuristic world of OBLIVION. The film will see Tom Cruise as a drone repairman stationed above the Earth years after a war with an alien race has left our planet on the brink on destruction. The film is directed by TRON: LEGACY’s Joseph Kosinski and co-stars Morgan Freeman, Olga Kurylenko, Melissa Leo and Andrea Riseborough. It’s released in the UK from the 12th April and a week later in the US.
John M. Chu takes over Stephen Sommers for the all-star action sequel spectacle, G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. The film sees RISE OF COBRA returnees Channing Tatum, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Park and Jonathan Pryce, joining up with Adrienne Palicki, Ray Stevenson, Elodie Yung, Walton Goggins and hulking genre veterans Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson for more jaw-dropping stunts. The long-delayed (and rumoured) troubled shoot will arrive in cinemas from 27th March.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
