The fantastic Katie Sackhoff stars in the title role of this straight to DVD/VOD thriller. SEXY EVIL GENIUS sees Nikki Franklyn (Sackhoff) invite a number of her ex’s to the same bar at the same time, and it looks as though spin the bottle isn’t on the cards. This is the feature length directorial debut of Shawn Piller, who has worked on shows such as THE DEAD ZONE and HAVEN. Judging by the trailer, the film certainly feels like an episode of a TV show, and the film can’t even get the credits right, with a double ‘And’ making the cast list sound awkward when read aloud. Thankfully the cast is more than impressive with the likes of Seth Green, Harold Perrineau, William Baldwin, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Anthony Michael Hall.
SEXY EVIL GENIUS is released in the US on 9th April on DVD and via VOD.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.

Nice to see Buffy alumni Michelle Trachtenberg and Seth Green again, I love these two and I think they don’t get nearly enough roles since the show ended.
Though I like Katee Sackhoff as an actress, I have trouble finding her sexy: she’s way too manly for that.
