While some of us are sitting around and awaiting an official announcement as to whom Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing in STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, the rest of us are wondering what The Naughties will look like in THE SMURFS 2. Well, we now have an answer thanks to the first trailer from the upcoming sequel.
THE SMURFS 2 sees Gargamel (Hank Azaria) create his own race of miniature people in an attempt to kidnap The Smurfs. The Naughties try and convince Smurfette to be naughty, but will they succeed in this diabolical plan? I hope not! The humour, if one can call it that, is once again aiming at the lowest of the low, and the makers have decided to set the film in the real-world once again, this time taking the blue guys to Paris.
THE SMURFS 2 is released 31st July 2013. It stars Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria, Katy Perry, Alan Cumming, Anton Yelchin, Jonathan Winters, and Jayma Mays.
