Lee Child’s ex-military cop JACK REACHER will get the big-screen treatment later this year as Tom Cruise wears stilts to accommodate the hulking stature of the author’s heroic character. Well, not really, but Cruise will play Reacher and is based on Child’s novel ‘One Shot‘, the 9th tale to feature the hard-as-nails homicide investigator. THE WAY OF THE GUN’s Christopher McQuarrie is back behind the camera and also on script duties for this action-thriller slated for 26th December.
