With the excitement of THE AVENGERS over and our focus now on DC for Bats next week, Marvel have released a teaser poster for their new one-shot ITEM 47 to keep us interested until IRON MAN 3 next year. The third in the series of short films accompanying the Marvel cinematic universe, ITEM 47 departs somewhat from the first two shorts which focused on Agent Caulson (Clark Gregg) and his shenanigans between films. ITEM 47 stars Lizzy Caplan and Jesse Bradford as a couple who find a Chitauri gun, a weapon wielded by Loki’s army in the climactic battle of THE AVENGERS. Two S.H.I.E.L.D agents are dispatched to recover the alien weapon and stop the couple before someone has a bad time.
ITEM 47 will be released on THE AVENGERS Blu-ray/DVD, available on the 17th September in the UK.
