Last week, THN brought you the full eight character posters for the forthcoming G.I. JOE: RETALIATION. This sequel is the follow-up to Stephen Sommers’ rather forgettable first outing G.I.JOE: RISE OF COBRA, which is based on the iconic toy and the cult cartoon series. This latest film looks to be upping-the-ante by bringing on board former WWE superstar Dwayne Johnson, as well as action legend Bruce Willis and both are featured in this latest poster from Korea:
G.I.JOE: RETALIATION blasts into cinemas 3rd August and will co-star Channing Tatum, Adrienne Palicki, Arnold Vosloo, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, Byung-hun Lee, Ray Stevenson and ace JUSTIFIED star Walton Googins, who will hopefully not be wasted like he has previously in PREDATORS and that STRAW DOGS remake. Jon M. Chu directs.
Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
