If you’re as much a fan of Crispin Glover as I am then it’s likely that you’re going to love the trailer for director Charles Matthau’s crime comedy FREAKY DEAKY. Also staring Christian Slater the 1974 set film is based on the original novel by Elmore Leonard.
Once a member of the bomb squad Chris Mankowski finds himself closer to explosives than he’s ever been. Sweet revenge is just the beginning when it comes to unearthing the true comedic and dark nature of these Los Angeles citizens out for all that they can get.
Also starring Michael Jai White FREAKY DEAKY is yet to acquire a distributor but is set to premiere at the Tribeca film festival on Sunday.
