A trailer and several pictures have surfaced online for the Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen drama comedy TAKE THIS WALTZ.
The film, directed by Oscar-nominated director Sarah Polley (AWAY FROM HER), focuses on the lives of Margot (Williams), Daniel (Luke Kirby) and Lou (Rogen). Their intertwining lives become our source of drama as we watch their relationships grow. The trailer also shows that American comedienne Sarah Silverman supports the cast, as Margot’s friend Geraldine.
The pictures give us some shots of the characters on set and also a candid shot of Polley directing.
Debuting at last year’s Toronto Film Festival (it’s set in Toronto), it came out with very positive reviews. I am a huge fan of Williams already after seeing BLUE VALENTINE (2010) so am on tender hooks waiting for TAKE THIS WALTZ to be given a UK release date.
TAKE THIS WALTZ, directed by Sarah Polley and starring Michelle Williams and Seth Rogen, has a US release date of 29th June, 2012. A UK release date is yet to be set.
