New Mad Men Season Five Images Featuring Booze and Snappy Suits

With only ten days to go until the fifth season of MAD MEN, AMC is ramping up the excitement with a selection of new pictures. Like the show itself, there’s not a whole lot of action in these pictures, but plenty of intense glances, resentment and deep seated secrets.

Pretty much all of the major players feature in the photos, with the notable exception of Betty, Don’s ex-wife and arguable co-lead of at least the first three seasons. Though Betty was somewhat sidelined last season, it’s hard to imagine she won’t make any appearances this year, what with Don and Betty’s daughter becoming such a good actor and all.

One interesting note (kind of): Bert Cooper, who quit the company at the end of the last season, is back in the fold in the group shot, perhaps trying to pull a George Costanza and pretending nothing ever happened.

Your pictures are here, just below this sentence:

Don and Peggy
Roger and Pete, probably wisecracking and whinging respectively
Joan, thinking about all her secrets
Lane Pryce; his dad is unpleasant
The gang, minus Ken Cosgrove
