Variety reports that Dwayne Johnson (are we really not calling him The Rock anymore) is set to star in a new action film called SNITCH for Exclusive Media Group.
The trade says that the film focusses on a devoted father whose son faces 30 years in prison after being set up in a drug deal. The father goes undercover in the drug world to make a bust that will free his son.
Sounds kinda cool, and I love The Rock, sorry Dwayne Johnson in a good actioner. Can he please have a bit more dialogue than what he had in FASTER though… and a few more raised eyebrows…
Ric Roman Waugh will direct SNITCH, which kicks off shooting in June.
