Ralph Fiennes is in talks to appear in the next James Bond film, reports suggest.
A Daily Mail gossip column claims the actor’s representatives have been talking to director Sam Mendes and the film’s producers about a role “of extreme complexity”.
A source said Fiennes was intrigued by Mendes’ ‘revolutionary’ plans for Bond 23, which apparently takes Daniel Craig et al into altogether darker territory.
The talks are in the early stages, but the part is not thought to be the same one Javier Bardem is up for.
