Kate Winslet has unveiled to The Daily Mail that Sam Mendes is definitely still on board to direct the next James Bond movie.
Production is likely to begin at the end of next year, and Kate told the newspaper what her plans would be for the family:
“Sam is doing the next Bond film and we’ll all be in England if that happens, […] It’s such a massive commitment for him and it’s not fair for him to commute backwards and forwards to New York from London. It would be impossible. The children will be there with me.”
Both Daniel Craig and composer David Arnold are confirmed for the next film in the franchise, and The Daily Mail also mentioned that Mendes has had meetings with producer Barbara Broccoli to discuss further casting details.
