Channing Tatum Heads Back to School for “21 Jump Street”

Sony Pictures have announced that Channing Tatum is joining Jonah Hill for the feature film remake of 21 JUMP STREET, the Fox TV series that heralded the beginning of Johnny Depp‘s most illustrious career. Hill has been getting the undercover-cops-in-big-bad-high-schools-and-colleges story together in collaboration with SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD screenwriter, Michael Bacall. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (of CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS fame) are set to direct the movie, with shooting to commence next spring.
