The producers of THE WATERMAN MOVIE say that the film may never be released because of financial short-comings in the production.
The actor Leslie Nielsen , who died Sunday at 84, voiced a character named Ready Espanosa in the small-budget animated movie THE WATERMAN MOVIE, but the director says they can’t affort to complete it.
The director, Bryan Waterman, told TMZ. com that Nielsen finished his voice-work over 12 months ago but a great deal of production work on the animation still remains before the film can be finished.
He’s seeking donations in exchange for a “special thanks” at the end of the movie to help get it into theaters.
