A new trailer has been unveiled for the film, THE LINCOLN LAWYER starring Matthew McConaughey and Ryan Phillippe. Based on the novel of the same name by Michael Connelly, it is directed by Brad Furman (THE TAKE) and co-stars Marisa Tomei, William H. Macy and John Leguizamo.
The story centres on criminal defense attorney, Mickey Haller (McConaughey) who spends most of his time defending petty thieves out of the back of his Lincoln sedan. But when a Beverly Hills boy (Phillippe) asks him for help after he has been accused of a murder he says he didn’t do, Haller believes he has scored the case of his career. However, what at first seems simple quickly gets dangerously complicated, and it’s not long before Haller realises that maybe he’s bitten off more than he can chew, and that his life may be at risk.
THE LINCOLN LAWYER is set for release on March 18th 2011.
