Production Weekly are teasing us at the moment after posting on their Twitter account that they are hearing that the long-planned and often delayed GHOSTBUSTERS 3 is set to go into production (finally) in May 2011!
We guess that the rumours that Sony had approved a script for the supernatural comedy were true, and we guess that that script is written by YEAR ONE writers Gene Stupnitski and Lee Eisenberg. Ivan Reitman is attached to direct.
Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis will (hopefully) return with rumours that the plot will follow Murray and Weaver’s son ‘Oscar’ as he inherits the Ghostbusting business.
