London and crime just wouldn’t look the same in movies without a bit of Jason Statham’s skin head gleaming in the sunlight.
New British grit flick, BLITZ, stomps onto the scene wearing steel toed boots and ready to kick ass. The story centres on Statham‘s character, a copper who likes playing rough, and his new, holier-than-thou partner (played by Paddy Considine), who doesn’t like getting grimy, chasing after a serial killer who’s main focus has become murdering bobbies.
Based on the crime novel by Ken Bruen and directed by Elliott Lester, the BLITZ script was created by MOON‘s Nathan Parker and is being produced by Lionsgate UK. It co-stars Luke Evans, Aiden Gillen, and David Morrissey and is set to be released early next year.
