Anthony Hopkins in Thor
Ahead of the massive San Diego Comic Con event in erm San Diego next week where we expect to see tons of fanboy news come out of, Marvel have announced that two of their upcoming films will be released in 3D. Those two films are Captain America and Thor, for which we have a cheesy still of above. What the hell is going on with the golden eye patch on Anthony Hopkins’ head?
Thor director Kenneth Branagh said of the news: “We came to feel that in our case 3-D could be the very good friend of story and character for a different kind of experience.”

It’s no surprise to me that they have gone 3D though I would have been happy enough with 2D.
Doesn’t Sir Anthony Hopkins look good? Looks a convincing “All father” Odin (except maybe the armor is a bit plastic).
I can hardly wait to see the Thor movie.
