There’s apparently an amazing film playing in north American cinemas this weekend. It’s very different, it’s very good and it’s called Splice. Here’s our mates over at Zboneman.com with their [positive] view.
This is a cautionary tale about the risks that come with playing God, and while there are a few sections of the film that are a little hard to swallow, Splice ultimately gets its point across with flying colors. And wait until you see the visual marvel that is Dren–an amazing fusion of CG and live action performance (courtesy of a stellar effects team and the beautiful Delphine Chaneac). Splice is icky, grotesque fun and I can’t wait to see it again.
