Luther actor Idris Elba has been hit with a string of fines as he battles through this year’s Gumball Rally. The Wire star has reportedly shelled out over $1,500 in fines during the European leg of the rally, which sees a host of celebs and top drivers taking part on a pre-set route from London to New York.
The actor is co-driving an Aston Martin DB9.
His new drama, the aforementioned Luther, in which stars as a top cop, hit BBC screens in the UK on Tuesday evening.
