The Hollywood Reporter are white hot with news today! The trade is reporting that Thai helmer Prachya Pinkaew is going to make his English-language directorial debut with Elephant White, starring Djimon Hounsou and Kevin Bacon over at Millenium Films. Kevin Bernhardt wrote the script.
Pinkaew’s previous credits include the flicks Ong Bak and Chocolate.
In Elephant White, Hounsou will play a mercenary, while Bacon portrays an old acquaintance of Hounsou’s character whose allegiance can’t be trusted.
Filming kicks off on the project on March 8th.
