Well, how about this then? After revisiting his original break-out movie The Fast and the Furious, Vin Diesel is to go back and make a third movie in the hit Pitch Black series. Following of from The Chronicles of Riddick, Diesel will return to the role of Riddick for the new movie, which will be written and directed by David Twohy.
Twohy was the man who brought the first and second movies to cinemas. Diesel will also produce the new film which will be distributed by Universal Pictures. Variety reports that Lionsgate will be selling the international rights. The film will focus more of the character of Riddick rather than the world in which he inhabits, according to the trade. Diesel will be having a busy 2010 as he has also signed up to return in a fifth Fast and Furious movie, titled Fast Five.
