Emma Stone liked watching Abigail Breslin kill zombies

As you know, we have been championing ZOMBIELAND since we finally got the chance to see the movie last Wednesday. The film is doing superbly well across the world and the cast and filmmakers as still aout and about seriously flogging the film across Europe. Emma Stone, Jesse Eisenberg and Abigail Breslin just attended the Sitges Festival over in Spain over the weekend where Emma shared her favourite part of making the film with Rotten Tomatoes.

"I got to shoot a lot of zombies but my favorite thing was to watch Abigail shooting them. She is way more bad-ass than any 12-year-old I've ever met. Needless to say, there were nights that it was incredibly scary and you're being chased by 30 ravenous extras dressed as zombies." The actress told the site.

The sequel to 1988 movie WALL STREET, which I still have yet to see (I know -- apologies), has kicked off shooting under the watchful direction of Oliver Stone in New York City, and the folks at Splash News have scored the first on set snaps of Michael Douglas and Shia Labeouf. Josh Brolin also stars alongside Carey Mulligan, Frank Langella, Charlie Sheen and Susan Sarandon. The full title of the flick is WALL STREET 2: MONEY NEVER SLEEPS. More pics here.

Wow! Kristen Bell is the real star of Couples Retreat

kristen-bell-couples-header.jpgThe new Kristen Bell movie COUPLES RETREAT is out this week. We say Kristen Bell movie as although it is seen as a starring vehicle for the likes of Jason Batemen and one Vince Vaughn, SHE is our real star.

The flick is a comedy centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort's therapy sessions is not optional. The movie is released on Friday (October 9th).

The event was held at the Venetian Hotel and Casino for the club's four-year anniversary party, which was hosted by none of other than P Diddy. Not sure if She's The Man, but fah-shaw she is de-fo still the woah-man!!!

One thing's for sure, former Buffy and AMERICAN PIE star Alyson Hannigan sure knows how to party. The flame-haired actress revealed that she got together with a bunch of other showbiz pals to raise awareness of their hea;th. Said celeb friends are the likes of Emily Deschanel, Minka Kelly, Jaime King and Katharine McPhee.



The girls have gathered together for a slumber party for the sole purpose of checking to make sure they are all in good health. When Emily detects a lump, however, a bit of panic ensues. That is, until Alyson determines the culprit behind their concern.

Mel Gibson is currently shooting a movie called THE BEAVER in New York City, and the folks over at Splash News Online have scored a pic of Gibson's said beaver. The film is apparently about a man who puts a puppet beaver on his hand and treats it like a live animal.

Jennifer Garner. Hot. Premiere of The Invention of Lying.

The headline says it all. The wife of one lucky Ben Affleck is starring in Ricky Gervais's directorial debut THE INVENTION OF LYING, which hits cinemas very soon.

As the event photographers captured the moment, they started yelling for Jennifer and Ricky to pose together as Jane (Falllon - Ricky's girlfriend) looked on. It was a funny sight as Gervais was eating up all the attention. While posing and hearing the photographers yelling, Ricky shouted back, "Shut up! Shut up!" as he kept laughing.


The film takes place in an alternate reality in which lies and lying does not exist. Everyone tells the truth includling politicians and everyday people without knowing what the consequences are. Mark Bellison played by Ricky Gervais develops the ability to lie and experiences the rewards of dishonesty.

Here's Emily Blunt promoting her new (ish) new movie THE YOUNG VICTORIA over in Toronto. We say new (ish) as the film has been on DVD in the UK after being release earlier on this year to much acclaim in cinemas. US audiences will be able to see the flick soon, but for now let's just enjoy the lovely Ms. Blunt.
