Dirty Work (1998) - Reviewed by: Adam Mast, Zboneman.com

Though I've always been a fan of Norm MacDonald (who co-wrote this monumentally mediocre comedy) I knew I was in for a painful 90 minutes when the opening credits informed me that it was directed by Bob Saget. This is probably the most wrongheaded attempt at a comedy I've seen since Meatballs 3. MacDonald's patented deadpan delivery that endeared him to fans of his work on SNL, went horribly awry and the movie's few funny moments came courtesy of cameos by fellow SNL alumnus Chris Farley and Adam Sandler. Norm, we love ya, but Dirty Work sucked. Better luck next time.

Grade: F
