The Aviator, Million Dollar Baby and Sideways have been are up for a Writer's Guild of America nod, alongside films like Garden State, The Motorcycle Diaires and Mean Girls.

The Aviator is up for Best Original Screenplay from a script from John Logan, as too is Garden State (Zach Braff), Kinsey (Bill Condon), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Charlie Kaufman) and Hotel Rwanda (Keir Pearson and Terry George).

Before Sunset, Mean Girls, Million Dollar Baby, The Motorcycle Diaries and Sideways are up for Best Adapted Screenplay.

The awards are dished out in both Hollywood and New York on February 19th.
