Eckhart goes indie

Rising star Aaron Eckhart has just signed on for two upcoming independent productions, carving his place deeper into Hollywood's list of solid leading men.

First up, he'll be paired with Helena Bonham-Carter in the romantic drama 'Conversations With Other Women', about a divorced couple that meet after many years at a wedding.

He'll then jump over to a feature-film adaptation of Christpher Buckley's novel 'Thank You For Smoking'. Eckhart will play a tobacco company rep faced with the industry's demons and angels.

No dates were given for both movies, or no co-stars either.
