A sequel to the 2011 hit comedy HORRIBLE BOSSES is pushing ahead, and a director for the follow-up has just been named as Sean Anders, the helmer responsible for the likes of SEX DRIVE and THAT’S MY BOY.
The first film revolved around a trio of disgruntled employees who came up with a plan to ‘off’ their bosses, who were played in the first movie by Colin Farrell, Kevin Spacey and Jennifer Aniston.
Jason Bateman, Charlie Day and Jason Sudeikis are expected to return for HORRIBLE BOSSES 2, as well as Jamie Foxx, all of whom appeared in the 2011 hit. John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein will pen the screenplay for the film (they also wrote the original movie), while you can be sure that Anders will pitch in with some words too, as he was one of the writers for this summer’s WE’RE THE MILLERS, and many other high profile comedies of the past few years, including the superb HOT TUB TIME MACHINE and the upcoming DUMB AND DUMBER TO.
