Plot: The story, adapted from an LA Times article called A Jink in a Box, is apparently based on real events that occurred when a family discovered a box which they think contained a curse. Almost unbelievably, the real-life box was thought to contain a dibbuk – an evil spirit of Jewish folklore, and it was sold on eBay by the worried owners back in 2004. The film is being produced by Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures.
