Verne Troyer has denied claims he hit on Danny Dyer's wife - insisting he would "never disrespect" someone like that.

The 'Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus' star - who was accused by the British actor of "cracking on" to his spouse at last week's Pride of Britain Awards - is adamant he behaved like a gentleman at the event, which recognises brave and outstanding achievements of UK citizens.

Danny Dyer had to stop Verne Troyer hitting on his wife.

The British actor was horrified when Verne - best known for player Mini-Me in the 'Austin Power' movies - took a shine to his spouse Joanne Mas at the Pride of Britain Awards last week, forcing him to step in and halt his advances.

We've just received word from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment that thay will release the Danny Dyer horror-comedy DOGHOUSE this coming October 12th in the UK. Here's the info. Packshot coming soon.

In this British horror comedy a group of young men (including Danny Dyer and Noel Clarke) travel to a small village for a break only to discover all of the female inhabitants have turned into killer zombies. The film is directed by Jake West.

Cheeky chappy Danny Dyer, the star of THE BUSINESS and THE FOOTBALL FACTORY is going one step further for his next film PIMP. He's advertising on social networking site Facebook for extras (to pay porn stars and strippers) to attend a casting call. Here's the deets:

The main men and women over at Empire Online have posted the first ten minutes from next week's British horror-comedy DOGHOUSE, which stars Danny Dyer, Stephen Graham and Noel Clarke.

The synopsis is this: six friends head off for a weekend in the country after one of them goes through a divorce and the rest feel that they need a break. Unfortunately for them, they pitch up in a town where all the women have been infected with a virus that has turned them into man-hating cannibals. Cue violence.

We posted the official DOGHOUSE trailer yesterday (see it here). Now, we can bring you the official UK quad posted for the film, which hits theaters on June 12th in the UK. I really don't know what you make of the film as comparisons are bound to be made between it and SHAUN OF THE DEAD, but we get to check it all out next Tuesday, so we'll let you know. The blokes and blokesses over at Vertigo Films have been ever so nice and provided The Hollywood News with the trailer for their new horror comedy DOGHOUSE, which stars Danny (THE FOOTBALL FACTORY) Dyer, Stephen (THIS IS ENGLAND) Graham and Noel (ADULTHOOD) Clarke. The folks have also provided us with a synopsis for the film which opens on June 12th in the UK. Here it is...


The highly anticipated comedy horror is the newest feature from award winning director Jake West (Evil Aliens). 

Vince (Stephen Graham) is handling his divorce badly.  He's depressed. Gone to pieces.  But his mates aren't giving up on him.  Struggling with their own women troubles, they drag him off for an ultimate lads drinking weekend in the country.  Arriving in the village of Moodley where the women outnumber the men 3:1, the boys find themselves holidaying in a village overrun by psychotic, homicidal Zombirds with a thirst for male flesh!

The cast includes BAFTA winner Noel Clarke (Adulthood,  Kidulthood), Danny Dyer (The Football Factory, Severance), Stephen Graham (The Damned United, This Is England), Lee Ingleby (Place of Execution), Emil Marwa (East is East), Keith-Lee Castle (Young Dracula),  Neil Maskell (Rise of the Footsoldier, The Football Factory) and Terry Stone (Rise Of The Footsoldier) .

Joining them in the cast are Christina Cole (Lost in Austen), Adele Silva (Emmerdale), Tree Carr (Evil Aliens), Emily Booth (Zone Horror) and Billy Murray (Rise of the Footsoldier, EastEnders).
