Cheryl Cole turned into a "fool" when she met Beyonce Knowles.

The Girls Aloud star - who has just released her first solo track 'Fight For This Love' - admits she acted like a star-struck fan when she was first introduced to the 'Sweet Dreams' singer.

Cheryl - who met Beyonce when she appeared on UK TV talent show 'The X Factor' last year, on which Cheryl is a judge - said: "I turned into a fool when I saw Beyonce, I couldn't speak to her. I really embarrassed myself. When I saw Jay-Z the other week I did the same. I didn't know whether it was because I'd built it up in my head but when he approached me I started screaming Jay-Z and then turned my back on him."

The Girls Aloud star currently lives in a palatial property in Surrey with her soccer player husband Ashley Cole, but is thinking of splashing out on a home in the capital to stay at when she is working.

Asked if she had ever thought of buying a London apartment, she replied: "It's looking more and more like that you know."
