Tom Cruise has denied that he will have any involvement in the next SHREK film, which is set to hit cinemas in 2010.
A spokesman for the actor spoke to E! Online about said rumours which
surfaced a couple of weeks ago that Cruise would voice the villain in
the next movie.
"As of today, there is no truth to the Tom Cruise-Shrek 4 rumour." The spokesman said.
As for Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy and Antonio Banderas? Well, they are all expected to return.

In what The Hollywood Reporter describes as a 'first', to which I have
to agree, Paramount Home Entertainment are planning to release the
superb KUNG FU PANDA on DVD this November, along with a brand new direct-to-dvd companion movie.
Another first is that the film will be released on a Sunday rather than the traditional Tuesday.
The sequel to KUNG FU PANDA is called "Secrets of the Furious Five," with the subtitle - "The
'Kung Fu Panda' story continues." The trade says that the film delves into the
backstories of the "Kung Fu Panda" characters, with all-new
animation and Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman reprising their
respective voice roles as Po and Master Shifu.
The date to put in your diaries is Sunday November 9th. The double-dvd
version will be priced at under $25, with the single release of KUNG FU PANDA around $20.

Actor Johnny Depp is to reunite with his PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN director Gore Verbinski on new animated flick RANGO.
Depp will lend a voice to the lead character in the Paramount housed
film, a household pet that goes on an adventure to discover its true
self.
Quite a high-caliber talent list on this one, as the film is written by John Logan, who penned Martin Scorsese's THE AVIATOR. Industrial Light and Magic, those geniuses from the world of special effects will work on the animation.
The film already has a release date set, for March 2011.
