There was a time when acclaimed actor William H. Macy would only take meaty roles in credible projects. Nowadays, his main concern his to stay away from getting wet…

"Every movie I was in, it seemed for about 20 years, I ended up getting wet and they all shot in the middle of the night in January and I'm tired of getting wet in movies," said the 54 year old actor.

"I used to think, 'What's the through line? What does this say about the human condition?' when I read a script and now I only want to know two things - 'Do I have to leave town and do I have to get wet?'

Ironically, he will next be seen in 'Sahara', which clearly seems dry enough for his taste.
