Comedian and actor Ray Romano is to return to television for a new television series. The EVERYONE LOVES RAYMOND star will appear in a new television series for the TNT network in the US. Romano is said to be working on an hour-long pilot entitled MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE for the network.

Sources say that the show follows three friends in their 40s. Romano's character Joe is a "neurotic but friendly" divorced father-of-two.

TNT programming chief Michael Wright said: "Men of a Certain Age is about the highs and lows of being a guy in the modern era.

"It's about three best friends, each hoping to fulfill his dreams before the clock starts running out. It's an honest, emotional, funny and very personal take on the subject."
